A 3-Day Intensive for Dogs Who Struggle in the Real World
July 3rd (4PM) – July 5th (4PM)
Limited to 8 dogs only
If your dog is:
- fine at home… but completely different outside
- pulling, barking, lunging, or fixating on walks
- reacting to other dogs, people, or movement
- leaving you feeling constantly on edge
Then you don’t have a dog who can’t cope under pressure.
And that’s exactly what this weekend is built for.
THIS IS NOT A NORMAL TRAINING WEEKEND
This isn’t:
- obedience drills
- “just distract them” training
- or a chaotic group socialisation setup
Because, that’s not where your problem is.
Your dog already knows things.
They just lose access to them when it matters.
When:
- another dog appears
- something moves suddenly
- they feel pressure on the lead
- the environment becomes unpredictable
That’s when everything falls apart.
WHAT THIS RETREAT ACTUALLY FIXES
This weekend focuses on what most training misses:
👉 How your dog responds under pressure
We’ll be working on:
- reducing over-arousal
- breaking fixation
- improving disengagement
- building real handler focus
- and giving you control in real situations
THE 7 CORE OUTCOMES
Over 3 days, we target:
1. Lower arousal
So that your dog isn’t constantly on edge
2. Real engagement
So, they choose YOU over the environment
3. Lead clarity
So that you can guide, not just hold on
4. Disengagement
No more staring, locking on, or spiralling
5. Reduced fixation
So triggers don’t take over
6. Better social decisions
No forced greetings. No chaos.
7. Real-world handling
So you actually know what to do outside
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
This is hands-on.
You’ll be working directly with your dog in:
- controlled dog setups
- structured exposure sessions
- lead handling drills
- disengagement training
- real-life scenario work with real dogs and triggers
You’ll learn:
- how to read your dog properly
- how to stop reactions BEFORE they happen
- how to handle various off lead dog and tight or narrow situations
- when to step in vs when to leave
WHO THIS IS FOR
This retreat is for dogs who:
- are fine at home but lose it outside and react to other dogs on lead
- are worse on lead than off lead
- fixate, stare, or lock onto triggers, then explode
- who escalate quickly and go 0–100 in seconds
- have had bad experiences with triggers and are sensitive, intense, or easily overwhelmed
- who are socially capable but struggle with unfamiliar dogs
- who recover quickly but still react hard
And for owners who:
- feel anxious before walks
- are constantly scanning the environment
- feel like nothing has fully worked
- want clarity, not guesswork
